Default Hmm, are you REALLY...

A girl?

I see so many people dressed up in girl costumes, playing girl characters. Not that I mind... I have a sexy monk. But I'm just curious.. How many of you that play GIRL characters are really GIRLS?

Am I the only real girl out there?

I am really a girl... No, really! I see a whole lot of female characters, and usually assume they aren't female in real life. Some are, I know, but call me a cynic!

Nice to hear from a fellow female gamer though.

Dudes are hairy and ugly, so we rather watch a female character instead of a reminder of our ugly and hairy self.

I'm a girl, and so are two of my guildmates as well. lol We females may be outnumbered, but we do exist!

EDIT: Alana, I think the same thing all the time. Especially when I see a female elementalist dancing without clothes in town...

I've made all my characters male, because I see my characters as mini-mes. I don't usually find myself staring at my character for long periods of time, either.

There's a topic about this in the Off-Topic and Absurd thread, "YES GIRLS DO PLAY ONLINE GAMES!1" Or something to that effect.

I'm a guy who made a female character (Vadra Vultura - Elementalist/Mesmer). Just wanted a change of pace from my previous two characters, who were both males. Keep in mind I don't roleplay a girl though when I'm using Vadra (currently working her way through the game now). That's too twisted for me. I'm sure there are tons of lonely boys out there acting the part of their female characters to sucker others into giving them stuff/aid. Not me.

Yes, there are plenty of real females playing this game though. I've met more than a few over the course of my three characters.

I'm male. 3 of my 4 RP characters are male. The only female is My Me/E because while female mesmers are sexy, male mesmers are kinda fruity in my opinion. I never forward the premise that I'm anything but a guy when I'm playin Elayne Trakand though

I think male mesmers look cool. Roguey. Like Robin Hood. I'm gonna dye my male mesmer all black, and name him after an Asha'man. Maybe Logain..

Id hope the majority of female chars are girls or id have to come to the sharp realization that 50% of male gamers are queer(Not in the homosexual way but in the 'you are weird' way), and just be disturbed

IMO characters should be modeled after u hence why i dont make warriors because im not on steroids

Truely... there's nothing like getting on Vent with a group under the following scenario:

Player A: Female Char
Plaber B: Female Char
Player C: Female Char
Player D: Male Char
Player E: Male Char
Player F: Female Char
Player G: Female Char
Player H: ME!!! A REAL GIRL.

Get on Vent. First thing you hear is a bunch of guys talking and making farting noises. Then I say "hewwo everyone!!!!" in my cute, excited, ready to own some Korean voice, and then it's silent and everyone is like "OMG LAIN I DIDNT KNOW U R A GIRL, ROFL" and "Wow... so, Lain, where do you live?" or "How old are you?"

SHUT THE RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO UP!

How many threads are we going to see about this stupid subject.

Fact of the matter is, you either believe or you don't, and you're either believed or you're not.

Quoted for emphasis.

I choose my characters sex based on the looks of the two. For example, I would rather have a male ranger or warrior, but would rather have a female elementalist or mesmer.

Male Ranger
Female Warrior
Female Monk
Female Elementalist
Female Necro
Female Mesmer

Sadly the females simply look better. The male clothing is just pathetic.

Male warrior too large.
Male Monk Too Fat
Male Ele Too Gay
Male Necro Too Hunch Backed
Male Mesmer, self explanatory.

Male ranger still>Female ranger probably only because he can break dance.

This is all crap. Who cares if your a girl or not. Or a boy. Or both...
What matters is how we all are inside. So who cares if the girl wears double Ds or a guy wears extra large underwear, we should just all be friends and all 'cackles' and all the girls give me your number now or I will find you and hunt you down.

Forever and ever amen. Remember the IGN is The infamous Ranger.
